NE.VPN

Still works when the rest is switched off.

Full speed on Wi-Fi. A connection on mobile data even when the carrier allows whitelisted sites only. One subscription for both.

Three ways out

A subscription holds several profiles, one per kind of network. You switch on the one that fits right now.

  • Wi-Fi

A direct connection that looks like ordinary HTTPS. For home and office, at the full speed of your line.

    Every app

  • LTE

For mobile data. Traffic goes through addresses carriers do not cut off, for when the direct path is closed.

    Every app

  • Whitelist bypass

When the carrier allows approved sites only, the app opens a separate channel. Each device has its own, so it is not shared and does not collapse under load.

What else matters

  • Russian services

Banks, Gosuslugi and Yandex go direct, from your own address. No need to switch the VPN off to pay or sign in.

  • Notifications

Apple and Google push stays outside the tunnel: it arrives on time and does not drain the battery.

  • Updates

The Android app updates itself. New profiles arrive in your subscription without a reinstall.

  • Devices

Phone, tablet and computer on one subscription. How many depends on the plan.

Plans

Every plan includes every profile. They differ in length and number of devices.

Questions

What is a whitelist lockdown?

A mode in which a mobile carrier lets through approved sites only. Ordinary VPNs do not connect at all. The NE.VPN app has separate “LTE” profiles for it.

Which profile do I switch on?

At home and in the office, Wi-Fi. On mobile data, LTE. If mobile data stopped opening anything but Russian sites, the whitelist-bypass LTE profile.

Can I use Happ?

Yes. Happ gets the Wi-Fi and LTE-2 profiles. The whitelist-bypass profiles work only in the NE.VPN app, version 1.8.0 and later.

It does not connect. What now?

Switch profile: the network may have changed. If that does not help, write to support. We see the state of the nodes and will tell you what to switch on.

How do I pay and renew?

For now, through support on Telegram. A subscription is renewed without changing its link, so nothing in the app needs setting up again.
